The Story

Michael Behenna

Michael Behenna

First Lieutenant Michael C. Behenna is a 25 year old Army Airborne Ranger stationed near Baiji Iraq, north of Baghdad. Michael grew up in Edmond, Oklahoma and graduated from Edmond Memorial High School in 2002. Michael graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma and was commissioned through Army ROTC in 2006.

1LT Behenna has been serving in Iraq as an infantry platoon leader with the 101st Airborne Division in northern Iraq since September 2007. On July 31, 2008, he was charged with the premeditated murder of an Iraqi suspected of being a terrorist. The Article 32 preliminary hearing and trial are scheduled to take place in Iraq.

  1. He should be given the medal of Valor not a freekin’ jail cell.
    Obama is a traitor and needs to be impeached and tried for treason

  2. The “Terrorist” he killed had already killed other members of his platoon!! He got what was coming to him! Release Michael C. Behenna, he gave for his Country, not only that he strived to be the best and went through torture in Ranger School, c’mon he has proven himself and poss saved others by taking that skum off the face of this earth!!!! Im behind him 100%

  3. There have been many actions taken against the brave men and women of the United States military, and this is one of them. We train our Warriors to fight but we dont allow them to win, I stand behind not only Lt. Behenna but all others who have been so wrongly accused. I am retired from the Marine Corps and pray he is released asap. Semper Fi…..

  4. As a Vietnam Vet, ROTC Commission,
    ABN SCH 65, Ranger SCH ’65, 1LT Platoon Ldr, Ist Air Cav;

    We are there to ‘close’ with the enemy. No second guessing.

    This article doesn’t give much information; however, I cast my vote
    with the fighting man, Lt Behenna.
    He was there doing his job for this country.

    His life and family is here – ahead of him. Case Dismissed.
